Hello people, This post is about the most important words about my topic, voodoo. Another activity of the class, apart from choosing the words I had to define them.  Here you have it!

1.Voodoo: Voodoo is a religion originally from West Africa, where it is still practiced today by members of the Ewe, Kabye, Mina and Fon de Togo and Benin ethnic groups. It is also known as voodoo the variant that originated from the syncretism that occurred in the Caribbean area between the beliefs held by slaves moved from West Africa and the Catholic Christian religion practiced mostly in those lands.

2.Religion: A religion is a solidarity system of beliefs and practices related to sacred things, that is, separated, forbidden, beliefs and practices that unite in a single moral community, called the Church, to all those who adhere to it.

3.Black Magic: It is known by the name of black magic to the series of acts that propose methods and ends badly seen by the society in which they are carried out. These are spells that seek to adversely affect the fate of one or more individuals, causing health problems, accidents or the loss of their possessions, among other misfortunes.

4.Death: Death is the term of life because of the organic impossibility of sustaining the homeostatic process. It is the end of the living organism that had been created from a birth.

5.Dolls: Toy that represents a human figure, generally reduced, of baby, of boy or girl or of adult person.

6.Rituals: A ritual is the conjunction of ritus and formulas that can be observed in a cult; It groups a series of actions or practices carried out for their symbolic value, established by a religion or traditions of a community.


7.Darkness: Darkness arises in the absence of illumination. When the light does not come to be perceived in a certain environment, it can be said that the place is dark.

8.God: A god or deity is a superior, non-human being, which represents the sacred.

9.Monotheistic religion: It is the belief in a single God, often with the gifts of omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence. Nowadays the concept is usually dominated by the Abrahamic religions and contrasts with other traditions such as
polytheism or pantheism.

10.Blood: Blood is a suspension of cells in a watery environment, driven by the heart through the blood vessels, with the objective of distributing oxygen and nutrients to the different tissues as well as eliminating waste, among other functions.
